Radios

NPSARC has two fully air-conditioned radio rooms called Radio Room 1 and Radio Room 2.  In Radio Room 1 we have a Kenwood TS 990 and in Radio Room 2 we have an Elecraft K3 both fed into our new control room which houses all antennas, six packs, filters and lightning protection as well as many other racks of equipment.

News broadcasts are made using Codan transmitters, also located in the control room.

The Club has a range of other transceivers including an FT 980, various other  HF  radios and several vhf/uhf transceivers as well as a dedicated DMR uhf transceiver.  A large range of Yaesu and other manufacturers boat anchors (eg FT-101, Eddystone, Collins) exist in our “museum”, which is shortly due to relocated to a more visible part of the building.

The remote station will be documented elsewhere on the site, but also comprises an Elecraft K3.

Quite a collection and one we are proud of.

We think it's the best Amateur Radio Club in VK
